Phew, this took forever, and still didn't come out exactly right. However, I'm still pretty happy with most of it.
This is a coloured version of the original linework I submitted yesterday. Used a variety of techniques in this one. I especially have a love/hate relationship with how the hair turned out - there's a big stuff up at the top of her head (using a mouse to do this in place of a tablet is a real pain ;_  , but the rest of the hair turned out really neat. Then I rearranged the position of the flowers, but that was the only real major change. Apart from the fact it's COLOUR! Yay!  And yes, went with the majority and made the dress burgandy. God, I love that hue. Fabulous colour that. Completed in Photoshop 5.0, prelim outline was with 05 Technical Pen, on cartridge paper. |
